Harold Hampton Obituary
80, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, November 23, 2015.
Mr. Hampton was born October 30, 1935 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Carl and Beulah Adams Hampton. He was a retiree of General Electric, a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge # 865 and Southeast Christian Church.
Among those who preceded him in death include his daughter, Tena Marie Hampton-Smith and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Lou Anna Hampton; daughter, Melinda Crawley (Nathan); grandchildren, Joshua Crawley (Larisa), Breanna Crawley and Sequoia Smith; great grandson, Jude Crawley; brother, Phillip Hampton (Cheri); sister, Charlotte "Lottie" Hampton; special family friends, Beatrice "Bea" Crawford, Katie Whitaker, Phil and Shirley Badgett and Linda Odom; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am in the chapel of Preston Highway Schoppenhorst with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday at Schoppenhorst.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Southeast Christian Church.

Lou Ann,Mindy and Bea, I am so sorry. Harold was one of the best men I knew. I wasn't able to come to the funeral home. I've been sick for a week but you are all in my prayers. Now Harold has joined Tina and will be watching over you from heaven.

Thanking God for the Hampton's and their friendship over the years. Ill never forget that "GE" neighborhood and the example that Harold and all the dad's set by being honest, hard working family men. Until we meet again in Heaven, Mr. Hampton we will miss you daily.
