Evans, Justin Neil,
A memorial visitation for Justin Neil Evans, 35, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. He passed away peacefully at home Friday, June 16, 2017.
Justin was born May 22, 1982 in Louisville, KY. He attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Elementary School and graduated from Providence High School in 2000. Justin was currently working for TARC in Louisville. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1525 Jeffersonville. Justin enjoyed reading, woodworking, golfing, bowling, and watching movies. He loved spending time on Craigslist and Ebay wheeling and dealing!
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bernard Evans; and his uncle, Richard Evans.
Justin is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Evans; his parents, Darryl and Kathleen Kerger Evans; a sister, Sarah McCoy and her husband Matthew; three nephews, Erik McCoy, Isaiah Cunningham, Hayden Coulter; two nieces, Evelyn Cunningham, Alixandrea Cunningham; grandparents, Anthony and Judith Kerger; and Shirley Evans; and his furry companions, Gandalf, Moriarty, Pete, Franklin, and Gypsy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

I can't believe Justin is gone when I read your post I was shocked to read that he had passed. He use to come in and talk to me and his Grandmother Judy when we worked in the Emergency Department at Jewish Hospital. To say he was a sweetheart puts it mildly. He was just a light and always made us laugh. His Grandmother Judy Kerger was so proud of him and loved him so much. He was such a strong young man, I know he had a lot to deal with in his lifetime but he never seemed to let it get him down. I admired him and his optimistic attitude. My love and prayers go out to his sweet Mom and Dad and all his wonderful family. Love you sweet Justin I'm thankful I got to know you. ✝
