Karen Diane Adams Combs

LEXINGTON COMBS, KAREN DIANE ADAMS, 52, widow of Homer Lewis Combs, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Louisville, an accountant for Systems Design Group, Inc., died Sunday, August 27, 2006 as a result of the Comair Air Plane Crash in Lexington. She was born in Fleming, KY, the daughter of Jack Newell and Mable Claire Collins Adams of Whitesburg, and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesburg and the Lexington Newcomers. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea L. Combs of Lexington and Savannah, GA; her brother, Stephen Adams (Lucretia) of Louisville; her sister, Monieca Hogg (Steve) of Rock Hill, SC; her two nephews, Joshua Newell Adams (Blaire) of Louisville, and Steven Hogg, and her niece, Jacqueline Hogg, both of Rock Hill, SC; dear friends, Larry Dean Adams and Clara Zirnheld; and their dearly beloved friend and companion, Sassy Marie. Memorial services will be at noon on Saturday at Porter Memorial Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Steve Hogg and Rev. Mark Webb. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at Porter Memorial Baptist Church and after 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. The W. R. Milward Mortuary- Broadway is in charge of arrangements.
