Peyton Bennett Obituary
Louisville - Peyton "Pey Pey" Christopher Bennett, 23, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 1, 2021.
Peyton was born on January 16, 1998 to Robert Bennett and Jaimie Sturgeon.
He was a graduate of Atherton High School. Peyton worked for Montgomery Chevrolet and was a football coach for Shawnee and Doss High School. Peyton was known for his infectious smile and "Big Love". He loved sports, mentoring, teaching and most of all he admired his family and friends.
Peyton is survived by his mother, Jaimie Sturgeon (Jason Hensley); father, Robert Bennett (Katelyn); sister, Adelyn Bennett; "sisters", Sierra and Alexis "Brownie"; grandparents, James W. Sturgeon, Nilhza Sturgeon and Jeff Bennett; godparents, Robby & Cindy Sutton; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218), visitation will resume on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 11 a.m. - until the time of service.
A virtual service to honor the life of Peyton will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. The service will be streamed live over our Facebook page, to participate "like" our Facebook page 'Arch L. Heady at Resthaven' and you will receive a notification when the service begins streaming at 2 p.m. on Monday.
A celebration of Peyton's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Boys and Girls Club of Louisville.

I am so very sorry for your loss, you all have been on my mind and in my prayers. Peyton was my brother Donald´s very best friend, I hope and pray for peace and comfort during this tough time.

So sorry for your loss. I fondly remember Peyton from his time at Atherton. His kindness shined thru his smile. A beautiful soul gone too soon.
