Phillip and Theresa, I am so sorry to here of Virginia's passing. I worked at Star TV when it was on 4th St. and a short time at the Frederica St. location. Your mom was a very special lady.... I can see her now walking through the back door of Star TV looking like a million dollars and always a smile on her face. Of course I have a vision of your dad also..... he always had a cup of coffee of very strong black coffee in his hand, he loved his coffee!! I ran into your mom about 3-4 years ago and it was clear she was still the sweet lady I remembered. Thoughts and prayers for all the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Gin's passing. She and my mother, Kathleen Barnes Evans, were first cousins. I didn't get to see Gin often but it was a real treat to see her and all of the Barnes cousins at their reunion in August 2003 in Owensboro. I took the attached picture during that occasion. In May of 2014 my sister, Karen Evans Hennig, and I had a memorial service for our sister, Kathy, in Centertown, and were so touched that Gin drove herself from Owensboro to Centertown to be with us. It meant a great deal to us to have her there. She was such a dear person and I will always remember her fondly. My sympathies to her family for I know she will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Saddened to hear of her death. My love and prayers are with all of you. We so enjoyed talking with her at Lyman's funeral. Not sure if we'll make it. COVID-19 has certainly changed our lifestyles. Love, Paula and David
