To the Powers Family and Dr. Powers Jr. (Baby Powers - as we use to call you), My sympathies and prayers to the entire family. Dr. Powers was a wonderful person to work with in surgery - though he was quiet ... when we joked with him - he would give us a sly look and slight smirk and all the nurses knew he was listening and silently laughing with us. A caring physician and a pleasure to be around ... all the nurses loved him and he will be sadly missed. Though he didn't deliver me, I feel as though he was largely responsible in "raising" me to be the nurse I am today. I pray that he is saying "Hello" to all my friends and family in Heaven and that his family will find comfort knowing that he is taken care of. God Bless you Dr. Powers - The "Old Methodist" Hospital Crew will miss you.

He was a wonderful physician, like most of the "old Methodist Evangelical" physicians. He delivered my children. Take pride in how many families he touched.

Dr. Powers,
My very deepest sympathy with the loss of your father. Your dad was a great friend and caregiver to my mother and he helped deliver me, so I can be your patient today! How beautiful is the circle of life...

Dear Mary and family,
Please know that the Breckenridge County part of the Powers family are saddened (and surprised) to learn of William Harold's death. His surprise letter to me a couple of years ago and news in it that he was "still mowing
his yard" makes me think that he was a man who really enjoyed the simple things of life and enjoyed "living" in general.
On the rare occasions that our paths crossed he always expressed great love of and pride in his family. Please know you will all be in my prayers as you grief his death. Sr. Rose Jean Powers (Everett and Eva Mae's daughter)

To all the Powers family...Dr. Powers was a wonderful doctor and a kind human being. He delivered all 3 of my children in the 70's correctly guessing boy or girl before ultrasounds were common. We all got a kick out of his bet with the anesthesiologist in the delivery room in 1979 when he was proven correct once again after the birth of my third child. I will always remember Dr. Powers with a smile.
