My memories of Michelle are when she was just a little girl at Presentation. I went to school with all the Petren girls. We first started our trips to school in the station wagon with Joe Blais and then Rod. After a while there were so many girls from Lowell that we graduated to a bus. I can see Michelle and Linda, Carol Ann & Suzanne. They were such nice girls. Mrs. Petren always made their clothes. I'm sure she was just as beautiful as an adult. (Inside and Out)
Please accept my Sincere Sympathy to her husband, daughter Arielle and the Petren family.

I knew Michelle all the years she worked at my dad's pet store. I had great fun with her and remember her taking me to swim at her house and to go horseback riding. It makes my heart ache to know she has a daughter that will not be able to enjoy such wonderful times with her mother. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all of the Merrill family.

I was saddened and so shocked when I heard the news. I grew up with this young lady and last saw her in the late 70's. I remember playing tag and hiding go seek with her and her sisters. This is such a shock to me. She was so young and I can see she did well with her life but had so much more to live. This has made me stop and think. I am a paramedic and I never give a second thought to people that pass away at this age, in my care. Now I will think of all the friends and people they leave behind, and that are efeected by such tragedy. This is so very sad and my thoughts are with her family and the Petren's who lived just 2 houses from mine.
