Tracey Everett Obituary

Dracut

Tracey Lynne (Murphy) Everett, age 58, a long-time resident of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Everett who she deeply loved for over 34 years.

Tracey was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 24, 1963. She was the daughter of Richard Michel and the late Elizabeth (Donnelly) Michel.

Tracey graduated from Dracut High School with the class of 1981. She worked at ECRM for over 20 years where she advanced to a position in Sales Operations. She met the love of her life, Tom at ECRM. Tracey left her job in 2005 to be a full time Mimi to her first-born granddaughter, Madison. Tracey's world revolved around her beloved grandchildren, and she spent as much time as she could with them. Tracey was an avid reader, a gifted gardener, and lover of all animals. She leaves behind her 19-year-old cat, Murphy, and the many wild animals in her back yard who will miss the snacks that she often fed them. Tracey will always be known for her infectious and loving personality and for the ease in which she made friends. She knew how to make people laugh until they cried while telling her life stories.

Tracey is survived by her true love, life partner, and husband, Thomas Everett, her 2 children, Michelle Dunn and Michael Dunn as well as his wife Zoe, her 5 grandchildren, Madison Dutily, Mackenzie Gervais, Leo Despres, Aurora Despres and Ezra Dunn. She also leaves behind her father, Richard Michel and his companion, Barbara Cormier, as well as her brothers and sisters George Murphy, Frank Murphy and his wife Linda, Daniel Murphy, Cathy Murphy, Michael Michel and his wife Kimberly, and Christine Reardon and her husband Patrick. She also leaves behind her nephews and nieces, Sean, Paul, Kerry, Michael, Melissa, William, Shauna, Meghan, Chiara, Ryan, Cameron, Kyle as well as several grand nieces and nephews.

Tracey was a loving daughter in-law to stepmother Patricia Everett married to the late Alfred (Al) Everett. Tracey was also a loving daughter in-law to the late Mary Lee Everett.

Tracey had room in her heart for many people outside her direct family but has a small number of special relationships we feel the need to mention. Cheryl Pirog, Susie Owen, Ann Despres, and Kellie Hamilton are some of those very special and dear friends with whom she considered very close family members and not just friends.

Tracey is predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Donnelly Michel, who she missed dearly.

As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made in Tracey's honor to Catie's Closet, www.catiescloset.org or the MSPC, www.mspca.org.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 28th from 3pm to 7pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. Her Funeral service and interment will be held privately. Funeral Directors Paul A. Hardy, Jr. & Jennifer Hardy. For directions and online guestbook, visit DRACUTFUNERALHOME.COM and find us on Facebook.
