Charles D. "Dennis" Will, 75, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021, at 7:45 p.m. in his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana. Private burial will take place. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
He was born June 11, 1946, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Elmer and Helen (Dolson) Will. On May 23, 1970, in La Porte, Indiana, he married Patricia Biela, who preceded him in death on June 13, 2016.
Surviving are two daughters, Julie (Greg) Zay of Lake In The Hills, Illinois, and Chrissy (Ryan) Williams of Michigan City, Indiana; two grandchildren, Caselle Pavlack and Addyson Zay; sister, Pat Lunog of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two brothers, Thomas (Dolly) Will of Chesterton, Indiana, and Ronald (Eileen) Will of Galena, Illinois.
He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Dennis retired as a millwright at Bethlehem Steel and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of John Franklin Miller American Legion Post 37 and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and also was an usher for the Notre Dame Football games. Dennis enjoyed shopping, being with family and friends and vacationing in Mexico with his friends.
