Christine M. Dombrowsky, 54, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at 12:15 p.m. in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, with Pastor William Fine officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until time service Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born Sept. 15, 1967, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Francis and Mary Rose (Fauler) Zeno. After the death of her mother, Christine was blessed with another mother when her father later remarried to Ann (Chandler) Zeno on Sept. 5, 1982, who has also preceded her in death.
On June 17, 1989, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Brian Dombrowsky who survives La Porte, Indiana, along with two daughters, Heather Dombrowsky of Lexington, Kentucky, and Kaitlyn Dombrowsky of La Porte, Indiana; son, Brandon Dombrowsky of La Porte, Indiana; grandmother, Jean (Zurlo) Zeno of Oswego, New York; sister, Denise (Denise) Cox of La Porte, Indiana; five brothers, Michael (Norine) Frederick of Michigan City, Indiana, Steven (Lisa) Frederick of Perdido Beach, Alabama, Michael (Emily) Zeno of West Chicago, Illinois, Brian Zeno of Appleton, Wisconsin, and Jon Bradley of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Christine was a retired mom after having worked for many years at Nasr Psychiatric Service PC, Michigan City, Indiana. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Michigan City, and enjoyed spending time with her family, coloring, and crafts.
