Wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt are the titles Debra "Deb" Anne Pawloski Sydow wore with pride, and their influence and significance did not end with her passing, but will live on!
Deb's life journey with us ended on Jan. 28, 2022, at the age of 56. She was with her family, but also in the hearts of so many others who will honor her legacy throughout their lives with their memories of her.
It was the time spent with family and friends that brought the greatest joy to Deb. Weekends in Brown County, attending festivals, parades, sporting events, and car shows. She loved her Cubbies and her little red Mustang. She also loved holiday gatherings and never forgot birthdays.
Deb's gift-giving was legendary! Everyone in the family probably has an ornament or decoration they display each year that came from Deb! Giving gifts brought her so much pleasure that she told her mother, "You think I do this for them, I do it for me!" Everyone will miss her wit and sense of humor.
One of her proudest moments was when Deb and her husband moved their son, Brandon, to Indiana University in 2019. She was so proud of his accomplishments and excited about what the future would hold for him!
Deb was a 1983 graduate of Elston High School. In June of 1997, she married Jerry Sydow in a beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Deb was an employee of Triplex Plating for more than 30 years. She also provided payroll services to Albano's Villa during much of this time. She took great pride in her work and was extremely dedicated and always gave it her all!
Deb is survived by her husband, Jerald "Jerry" Sydow; her son, Brandon Sydow; mother, Josie Pawloski; in-laws, Albert and Lorraine Sydow; brothers, Dave Pawloski, Doug (Diane) Pawloski and Dean (Sandy) Pawloski; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Sue Debald, Tammy Kieszkowski, Rebecca Udrow and Cindy Hycner.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis "Bud" Pawloski.
Due to the risks of holding gatherings during the pandemic, there will not be a visitation, nor a funeral. A memorial celebration in Deb's honor for family and friends will be planned at a future date.
Donations in Deb's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Debbie was one of my childhood best friends. We grew up in the same neighborhood. Oh the fun we used to have! She is a part of my best memories of childhood. I am deeply saddened and extend my heartfelt sympathies to her family.
