Send FlowersEloise E. Blint, 101, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at 7:09 p.m. in The Elms at Michigan City, Michigan City, Indiana.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Buffalo and 10th Streets, Michigan City, Indiana, with Rev. Jordan Fetcko officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born March 21, 1924, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Frank and Clara (Oshinski) Wagner. On Nov. 19, 1949, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Gordon R. Blint, who preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2006.
Surviving is her godson, John (Jan) Skierkowski of Lafayette, Indiana; and dear friends, Peggy Maddox-Barry (Dennis Barry) of Michigan City, Indiana, Val Eilers, Pam Kniola and Kathy Huskey, along with many church friends.
Eloise was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic women's study club, volunteered at the St. Mary's Thrift Store, Angela House and formerly volunteered at the former Red Oaks Heathcare Center.
Her family and friends wish to acknowledge Traditions Hospice, especially Krista, her nurse, for the tender care and compassion shown.
