Joyce Ann Neulieb, 90, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:08 a.m. in her home.
Cremation has taken place. Private burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington Street, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements.
She was born on May 20, 1935, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late George and Margaret (Schmuhl) Black. On Sept. 19, 1953, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Eugene F. Neulieb, who preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2020.
Surviving are her two daughters, Brenda Neulieb of Umatilla, Florida, and Beth Henn of Michigan City, Indiana; two sons, Bruce (Linda) Neulieb of Michigan City, Indiana, and Bradford (Kelly) Neulieb of La Porte, Indiana; five grandchildren, Sarah Bendle, Renee Bays, Nick Neulieb, Kyle Neulieb and Casey Neulieb; step-granddaughter, Brooke Kubath; seven great-grandchildren, Colin, Braden, Caiden, Hunter, Chase, Maveryk and Micah; and two step-great-grandchildren, Mason and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Shirley Menke; one brother, James Black; and one son-in-law, Greg Henn.
Joyce was a talented seamstress, who enjoyed sewing and making a variety of clothing, including her granddaughters' nursing uniforms. She was active and took pride in watching the grandkids in their sports and school activities.
