Judith Beck Obituary

Judith Elaine (Smoker) Beck passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 1:55 a.m. (CST), surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was 81 years old. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ron Smoker; son, John Beck; grandson, Jason Barger; and parents, Kathrine and Woodrow Smoker.

She is survived by the love of her life, Elwood "Butch" Beck, whom she was married to for 39 years. She is also survived by her children, Scott (Bonnie) Resetar, Edwin Resetar, Brenda (late Joseph) Petrone, Christine Covington, Jeni (John) Strieter, Jeff (Kathy) Beck, Steve (Jasmine) Beck, Dale (Janice) Beck, Todd (Alea) Beck and Lori (Dan) Meyer; sister, Kay Baumgartner; and brother, Tom Smoker; and sister-in-law, Jamie Link-Smoker. Judy was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy had a love of reading, traveling, playing fast-track, doing pull-tabs and spending time with family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love.

It was Judy's wishes to be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
