Marjorie "Marge" A. Grace, 96, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Nov. 17, 2025.
Marge was born July 27, 1929, in Willoughby, Ohio. Marge was the daughter of Maynard and Zelda (Garretson) Shroyer, who preceded her in death along with two brothers, Richard (Dorothy) and Ted (Nancy) Shroyer; and one sister, Virginia (John) Grace.
On May 22, 1948, she married Robert M. Grace, who preceded her in death.
Marge worked as an executive secretary at Austenal, Allis Chalmers, La Porte Hospital and the La Porte County Medical Society.
She enjoyed playing bridge, golf and bowling. Marge also enjoyed her winters in Florida.
Marge is survived by her children, Susan of La Porte, Dr. Robert (Cheryl) of La Porte, Steven (Wendy) of Vandalia, Michigan, and Terri (Lee Wainscott) of La Porte; grandchildren, Kristyn (Rob MacInnis), Erin (Gabe) D'Vincent, Ryan Grace, Jacob Eaton and Taylor Grace; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick; and a granddaughter, Anne Grace.
Marge will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family funeral was held on Nov. 20, 2025, at Pine Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte.
