Timothy Lance Wightman, 49, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on March 22, 2021.
Timothy was born on June 20, 1971, to Valerie and Timothy Wightman Sr. in Michigan City.
Timothy was a very hard worker who spent most of his life working and managing construction. He was also talented in wood carving, wine making and restoration. He was an avid lover of the outdoors. His favorite hobbies were camping, riverboating and spending time with loved ones. Timothy was always there when someone was in need.
Timothy loved nothing more, though, than being a father to his daughter, Valerie. He kept Valerie's sister, Stephanie, under his wing as a second daughter.
Timothy was predeceased by his mother, Valerie Wightman; his father, Timothy Wightman; and his two daughters, Kelly and Kristie, who he is now dancing in the sky with. He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Valerie Wightman; granddaughter, Addilynn Kneifel; stepdaughter, Stephanie Hinshaw; and many family members and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to come join his Celebration of Life, which will be held on April 25, 2021, at Red Mill County Park, La Porte, Indiana, at 2 p.m.
