Maryellen will be so deeply missed by the IMAGIN Organization and by me. I had the pleasure to work with Maryellen over the years as she was our association manager. Maryellen brought just professionalism to our association while bringing a calm and steady demeanor that kept us moving toward the goal. I pray for peace for your family at the loss of a loving and caring wife and mother at way too young a time.

There really aren't words that would do MaryEllen justice. She was a beautiful soul and someone I truly looked up to. I'm so thankful that she suggested car pooling when the kids were in kindergarten and for the friendship that came from that. She was a PTO warrior and she was always there for everyone in such a supportive and positive way! I'm so very sorry for your loss! She will be truly missed by everyone who's life she touched. I feel blessed to have known her. You are in my prayers.

The world will miss the super organizational skills brought into our lives by Maryellen.
She always found time to give to others and for self-improvement. Her CMP designation was something she worked for and was proud of earning. She was involved in committees, focus groups, and events where she could learn and share.
Please know that she left her mark in the association profession by her level of dedication and excellence.

A donation to Cranhill Ranch, from her friends at Experience Grand Rapids, has been made in Maryellen's memory, to support Cranhill's core value of "Hospitality and Servanthood," which Maryellen embodied in every way. Everyone who knew her will miss her.

Dear Pete and Alice, I was stunned to read in this morning's paper of the death of Maryellen, and have been struggling with what to say all day. I just hope she did not suffer long. I so remember meeting her and Grace at the Rotary meeting where Grace was awarded a scholarship by our Club, and they were both just so impressive and a real credit to you both for how they were raised. I just can't imagine how difficult it must be for you and the rest of your family. I wish you all the best and grieve with you.

Maryellen was my roommate in college and I've known her for over 30 years. She was the kind of friend you could connect with as if you had seen her just yesterday. I remember her being so calm and collected and kind. She always seemed like the most grown up of all of us. I am mourning her from afar. All of my sympathies and prayers to her family and friends. We will all miss her so much. Lisa

I sit here shocked and saddened. I had so many enjoyable times with Mel in college. Our impromptu trip to St Louis MO because we found flights for under $50 was one of the best weekends of my life. I am saddened that we lost touch over the last 10 years or so. She was always close to my heart and thoughts. Many hugs and much love to her family and friends. Cherish all the memories of her beautiful smile and soul. I know I will.

As the business manager for our association (MPPOA), Maryellen was always smart, kind, and dependable. More than that she was the soul of our organization leaving a legacy of good sense and grace for those of us she leaves behind. She will be missing but not forgotten. I can't think of anyone more full of light and joy in her daily walk than Maryellen. I knew Maryellen over the past 10 years from work/hospitality industry. I am so sorry for her children and Craig. Her faith was real, no mistaking that, and she wasn't afraid to let the world know that Jesus is her savior. I pray this will comfort you all as you grieve and help you know you will laugh together one day in heaven together. She had a wonderful laugh! May her illness, and hopeful walk during it, be a testimony of God's sovereignty and His faithfulness even if hardest times. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Oh death where is your sting, it is no more, for you Lord have paid the price for me. Maryellen will be greatly missed for her compassion, lightheartedness and God's light that she shined.
