Nancy Drumm Obituary
Lansing - Died peacefully at home in Lansing, Michigan, on January 15, 2018, with family at her bedside, secure in the knowledge that she was loved. Nancy was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in 2015 and lived fully through the end with dignity and grace.
Nancy was born in Lansing in 1936 to parents Rolland and Irene Force. She married James Drumm in 1956 and spent 11 years as an army wife, traveling the world. They resettled in Lansing after the birth of daughter Jamie Drumm and later, son Mark Drumm.
Nancy cared deeply about her family and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark (Sandra) Drumm and Jamie (Gene) Dexter; her grandchildren, Kole and Brandon Drumm; her sister, Betty (Dave) Joppie; nephew, Anthony (Ines) Skutt; great-nephews, Logan and Sebastian Skutt, Kyle Skutt, and Tristan Kingsley; nephew, Eric von Skutz and Frank Kobylczak; and many extended family members too numerous to list.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Interment will follow in Glendale Cemetery. Her family will receive friends beginning at Noon on Tuesday.
