I was asked who my best teacher in school was. It was an easy answer for me Mr. Ewing. He was my 5th grade teacher. I was a dyslexic/ADD kid, School was boring place for me. When I entered 5th grade Mr. Ewing encouraged my curiosity, and supported my interests. As an adult I founded an education organization that took live animals to schools and allowed children to experience them at their desk. We had offices in Los Angles, San Francisco and Detroit. After 30 years we closed the business and I went to medical school and I am a practicing Naturopathic Doctor. I am certain that Mr. Ewings timely support assisted me greatly.
I wish the best to the entire family and recognize Mr.Ewings compassionand good will. Thank you, Dr. Tim Joslyn

When we were at our lowest point, Scott's warm smile and caring, helpful friendship taught us what true Christian friendship really means. We are pretty sure he knew how much we have loved him. The challenge for us, today, is to pass along the lessons he taught us to a hurting world.
