Rest in peace Doc. You certainly deserve it. I expect that I will see you again soon and I would like for you to save me a seat on your Heavenly golf cart. Gene "squarehead" Seward.

I'm still using the wise advice Dr. Montgomery gave us when he was our Family Physician. I think our daughter was among the last crop of babies that he delivered. He was one of the most caring persons I ever met.

Dr. Montgomery was one of those rare doctors who didn't have to do a "million dollar workup" to care for you. He only ordered tests when they were truly needed.
I haven't seen him in a long time but what I remember about him was his love for cooking. He would always share his shopping list and discuss what he would prepare for meals.
I learned a lot from him, medicine wise and cooking wise!

He was an awesome mentor and teacher. He helped form my approach to patients during my time with him at the Shallowater Clinic 1999-2001.
