I am saddened to learn that Jerry is no longer here. Jerry gave me my start as a student assistant in the Information Services Office in 1965. I learned so much from him. He was a brilliant designer, great mentor and a wonderful individual.

To the children of Jerry Kelly. While I never met any of you, it was my great privilege and honor to work with your father at Texas Tech for a couple of years in the early 1970s. I was the assistant director of information at Tech and he was on staff with me. We worked together on numerous projects, and I was always impressed by his talent and skills in graphic design. Knowing of his commitment to serve Christ throughout his life, I pray that all of you will find rest and peace in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior. Blessings to all of you.
