Cathy Littlefield Obituary

Longtime Las Vegas resident Cathy Littlefield, 63, died Feb. 21 when her generous heart gave out in her sleep. Born in Alaska, Cathy moved to Las Vegas with her parents, Bonnie and Wayne Littlefield, and brother Cleve Edward, as an infant in 1957. She graduated from Western High School, then worked her way up from a Clark County clerk to upper management, overseeing building permits, zoning and plan checks. She retired as Permit Application Center manager in 2008 after 30 years of service. She was known for her gift of gab, her brutal honesty, and her ability to befriend anyone in minutes. Cathy loved golfing, playing cards or dominoes, traveling, hosting others and renovating her showcase home. Family and friends mattered most to her. She is mourned by her partner of 20 years, Dennis Foster, her stepchildren, her siblings-in-law, her nieces and nephews, and many cousins. The family is hosting a virtual wake; see https://www.mykeeper.com/profile/CathyLittlefield/ for details. Services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021, 2 pm,
