DANNY WOOD Danny Wood, 56, a 35-year resident of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 6, 2013, and is now at peace after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was born May 28, 1957, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to O.D. Wood and Betty Lou Walker. He loved his family and was a proud and loving father to his daughter, Danielle. Danny deeply loved his wife, Donna and, in turn, she deeply loved him. They were made for each other. Danny excelled in everything he did, from catching a six-foot sailfish to making a hole-in-one. Most recently, Danny was a general contractor and business owner, but was also a long-time employee of Nevada Power. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Sue Kent; and his treasured dog, Lola. He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; daughter, Danielle; mother, Betty Lou; father, O.D.; brother, David (Nerisa); nephews, Tyler, Christian, Sean and Tommy; nieces, Savannah, Sasha and Ave; and his precious dog, Scooby Doo. No services are scheduled. "Au revoir, my sweet. Until we meet again."

Donna & Danny, I was blessed to spent time with you and Danny this summer. He had a quiet demeanor and I always liked that about him.
