Lisa I only met you a few times at the ALS events. David was a very
special part of my sister Patti's life . She had a very different kind of a
realationship with him, He brought her laughter and courage during
the fight against the disease that was their bond. I am and always will be forever greatful to him for all he gave . He did Make A Difference
to alot more people than he even knew. God Bless you and your family. My heart goes out to you all. Peace be with you.

Our prayers are with Lisa and all of Davids family and friends. David will be missed as well as our mom (Patti) and Kathy that both suffered ALS along side of David. We were so thankful for the wonderful outpouring of love and support that David & Lisa provided to our mom and everyone in the ALS family. We will never forget your amazing faith and strength. Dear David, What a pleasure it was to meet you and Lisa through my daughter Trish Leavitt, one of your clients, several years ago. Your sense of humor, political savy and great mind were a joy to behold, even if only by email. I will never forget "The Ant and the Grasshopper" and was so happy you wanted the original copy from Sept 2009, which I able to send to you.

Lisa we are so sorry about Dave's passing. You know he's in a much better and healthier place now. Standing at the right of God and with a big smile on his face knowing he won't feel any more pain. Lisa ,God loves you too for taking care of Dave in his time of need.. You have earned your wings in heaven for having such a loving and full love for Dave. Lisa, I never had the opportunity to meet you, but I am so grateful you were there with David during his last years. Joan has told me so much about you.
To Joyce, Jennifer, Lisa & Jeffery I extend my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. What a beautiful family, and I was fortunate to meet all of you during my tenure of working with the greatest lady I have ever known. I only got to know him @ Joyce's retirement dinner in Milwaukee & just loved his humor & love for everyone. a great way to remember him. Joyce always talked off him & all her children in a fond way. Lisa my thoughts and prays are with you and your family. David was one of a kind and will be missed. David and I had numerous conversations over the years and even when he lost his voice we talked through emails. I will miss this time with him. I am moving to Mississippi otherwise I would be at the memorial service. Just know that my thoughts are with you. The angels have now taken him under their wings. God Bless!

Dave was so passionate about his love for Lisa, his country and his friends. Never timid about stating his views, he opened my eyes and reaffirmed my belief that one person can make a difference. He will be missed but his spirit will live on!

Hello Lisa, although we have never met, I knew and worked with David for many years and he always made me smile and left me laughing with his humor and views on what ever we were talking aboaut.
