Hi Grandpa, How are you doing? I've had a rough year so far, but I know that you are by my side through everything. We have a family page now (created in your honor) where we all can stay in touch and the younger generation can see who there relatives are. It is working out great. Losing you has made me realize that we cannot take life for-granted and need to love the ones we love and live life to the fullest. (I plan on doing just that). Saichi just dropped off the bookmarks that were created in your honor, they are beautiful! I will make sure everyone gets theirs. I just want you to know that you will forever be in our hearts and I love you. Please continue to watch over Grandma and make sure she is okay. We love you Grandpa.....Love Gena

The past two mornings, I have woke up around 3:15-3:30am, my boys were up playing with something not there. I sat there and watched them laughing. They were pointing at the ceiling saying, "Bird, mom bird." Then this morning they wake up, and run to the living room where I have grandpas picture that cousin Gena posted of him making Shaka, and they start laughing and pointing at grandpas picture saying, "BIRD!, MOM BIRD!, BIRD!" They did this yesterday morning as well. Grandpa I know you're there.. Thank you....I love you.

My grandpa... Always used to slip me extra money during Christmas's in Hawaii. He held this family down. Rest in Love grandpa... You got your wings....fly high with the Angels and look over us all. Grandma, we love you. You have always been the strong women behind him. Stay strong!

I have so many memories of you grandpa. But the latest memory I have is when I came to see you in June and asked you to come home with me in my suitcase. You told me yes and then you paused and said oh no I cannot come with you because me and mom (grandma) cannot fit in your suitcase :0) I loved watching the love you and grandma shared and I would always tell myself I want to be just like them. I love and miss you grandpa but I know you are watching over all of us. Love Gena
