Thank you all for your kind and fond rememberances of our dad Karl. It is much appreciated. I get to see him again through your eyes and it makes me glad to hear how he impacted you all. And sad again to realize the loss. He was a great man.

My sympathy to Dr. Hazeltine's family. He was a kind, caring person. I was Tumor Board secretary at St. Rose de Lima after he retired and he routinely attended the monthly meetings to keep in touch with current treatments. He also studied transcription because he felt he could help Medical Records with their backlog. I'm sure he was disappointed that this didn't work out because of departmental changes. He just wanted to help where he could. I know he is missed by many.

I'm so sorry to hear this news, I've been in Missouri for 17 years & news travels slow so far away. Dr Hazeltine was a wonderful, sensitive, open & loving doctor. Doctors like him are a rarity, he was not only our doctor but a trusted family friend. He will be deeply missed. My heart aches tonight.

Dr Hazeltine was a Very Good Man. he Was my Doctor for Several years and also one of my Mentors ( Elmers ) when I got in to Amateur Radio in the early 80's. I remember my first visit to his Office. His wife was his Nurse / Assistant. He gave me Advice and Guidance on Ham Radio topics as well as other life lessons. he was very Gracious and welcomed me into his home. My first piece of Radio Gear was an old Heathkit that he had built himself, and he had no reservations of giving it to me to use. Sorry to Hear of his Passing. KA7DRC / SK DE NX7R 73 OM.

I don't take the newspaper and just read this news after Jennifer Bruner Rogers posted it on FB. I had great respect for Dr. Hazeltine. My mother worked at the old Henderson Clinic on Lake Mead across from St. Rose in the 70's and I got to know a few of the doctors - He was one of my favorites. Around 1990 I took a computer class at Community College... and Doc was was one of my classmates, if I remember correctly he was learning computers so He could do medical transcription.
May your family be blessed with wonderful memories.

Karl Is my Uncle on my mothers side. Many years ago I lived with him and his wife my Aunt Barbara In Henderson, Nevada for a year of High School at Basic High. After School during the week when I came home, Karl and I would spend time In the very large basement doing all types of craft work. I will miss that now but I have to say that Karl was a believer and he for sure went to a much better resting place. And now he Is with my mother Cara and her Sister Wyna having fun. We are just waiting for our time when we get to go to our final resting place.(Our Heaven)
REST IN PEACH KARL!!! And most of all
GOD BLESS YOU FOREVER........

I too am at a loss for words. I can't remember the last time I even saw Dr. Hazeltine, but I know that whatever was bothering me, my brother or sister at the time, he would figure it out, give us some medicine, and everything would turn out OK. What a wonderful bedside manner he had. My condolences to the family. Karl Hazeltine was the best.

Karl was a wonderful uncle. He validated my desire to express my creativity and make things as a child. He was a good role model. He helped me when I was struggling with Randy. I always enjoyed spending time with him. He gave me great advice I will never forget. Most of all, I loved his sense of humor. I will miss him.

To the entire Hazeltine family, my deepest condolences on the passing of Dr. Hazeltine; I truly loved him and will always remember him. It was great growing up with Nancy, Naomi, Daniel and Kitso (R.I.P.). I have very fond memories of Aggie tackling all of Carver Park kids and licking us up one side and down the other. Much love and many blessings during this very sad time. Michelle Couyette Reno, NV (formerly, Henderson)
