LEO ARAMBULA Obituary

LEO ARAMBULA Leo Arambula, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Phoenix, to Josefine and Manuel Arambula. Leo was a Las Vegas resident since 1961. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Leo had a long career working for EG&G. He enjoyed working with the Department of Energy's Nuclear Emergency Search Team (NEST), a job that took him to many parts of the world. Leo was an avid golfer and a great family man. After he retired, he worked as a starter at Los Prados Golf Course. Leo was preceded in death by his daughter, Irene Arambula Gradwell. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Irene; his daughters, Vickie Rodela and Truki Marasco (Mike); son, Chris Arambula; and grandkids, Miles, Mitch Rodela and Brianne Gradwell. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Bishop Gorman High School Chapel, 5959 S. Hualapai Way, Las Vegas.
