Who would have thought, I got kicked out of Hollingsworth´s class and talked you into becoming your student aid. You wrote in my yearbook during that final year, "I´m impressed with your desire to get ahead, I believe you will go far, accept nothing less than the best"
Well you passed away some years ago, however I´m still able to remember some of our conversations and you were right. My wife and I our millionaire´s several times over, and I believe it had to do with some of our conversations. I´ve wanted to thank you many many times. Mr. Roberts I was never as religious as you, but I do hope that one day I´ll be able to see you again and thank you for those many words of wisdom!
Take care,

I met Randal Roberts and his sweet wife Audrey while serving a mission in Philippines Naga. He's a wonderful person and a great example. Love him and his dear wife.
My condolences to the Roberts family.

To the family of "Mr. Roberts," you were given a treasure of a human being to go on life's journey with. You have been in my thoughts because such a warm, loving human being leaves a void even if you know he is in a better place. Mr. Roberts was my counselor at Hyde Park Jr. High School and he helped me a great deal. His warmth and steadiness buoyed me. I am so grateful that he was there for me in that time of my life and I'm sorry that I didn't tell him that. I hope he knows.

Our condolences to the Roberts family at this time. Randy was a great example and blessing to all of us in our formative years. We will always remember his kindness and concern for the youth, and of course, his irrepressible smile. Randy's legacy will live on in this valley for generations, through the people he served. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Randy Roberts was my Bishop when I was a young man. I always liked him because he was always so positive and happy to be around. He made us feel important and I felt he wanted us to be strong and to make the right decisions.

"Mr. Roberts"! I enjoyed him so much as a teacher and counselor at Hyde Park Jr. High (as it was called back then). He was so warm and friendly, and really cared about us students. I was so happy to see him not many years ago at the LV temple (didn't know he was LDS). We reminisced about the good old days, former students, etc. A great educator and human being!

To all -- you are each in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult and lonely time. Please know that I thought your Dad and Husband was a really wonderful man, and an asset to the human race. Heaven is singing with happiness that he is home now. Don't forget - families ARE forever, and he will always be there for you. Blessings to each of you.

Randy counseled me many times at the request of my parents who were blessed to have him as a home teacher ( who visited diligently with stewart labrum every week )and neighbor. He loved me and never judged me.. He prophetically went to check on my father as he sat dying in his favorite chair. He then called me to give me the grave news. I loved this man with all my heart, he was a hero to me and my parents. It's not possible to express the loss I feel. I will always mourn the day I lost my dad, then my mom, then Randy Roberts. Like many others I'm sure .... This loss is tremendous. I hope Audrey, Rhonda,Justin, and Greg know how much I cherished their husband and father. Respectfully and Sincerely the GregHair family

Randall Roberts was a very fine counselor and colleague at Rancho H.S. Always with a smile, kind words and comments. He was a very solid educator and a fine member of the 'Rancho Family' all the years that I knew him. Students loved and respected him for his kindness, gentle spirit and kind heart. He always treated his students with kindess and a great heart for advising the counseling them with a fatherly touch.
Randy was a true credit to the profession and he always coducted himself in a highly ethical and professional manner.Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew him and that he touched as a true educator. God Bless you for a job well done. May you always rest in peace. Virgil A. Sestini

Mr. Roberts was my counselor at Rancho HS and I was his aid one year. He encouraged me to go to college, which I didn't want to do. I'm so glad I listened to him and went to BYU. He was always so thoughtful and kind, even giving me the cassette tape "You're Not Alone", before I left Rancho. My sympathy prayers go out to his family.

This is a man who did it right! Great husband, father, friend, and neighbor. He led and taught by example. I remember when he was my bishop, he didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear, but he did tell me what I needed to hear. Like many good men, he married up. His wife is an Angel. Sympathies to the entire family.

"Mr. Roberts" was my counselor at Rancho High and I believe he was all 5 of my siblings counselor too. What a great example of optimism and happiness he was. It didn't ever seem like he ever had a bad day. Whenever I would run into him after I had graduated from school he always made me feel like he remembered me. Such a great example. His wife Audrey was also such a great example to me especially in the years she cared for her husband.
My prayers and gratitude are with the family!
