I met Bob Lentz when I was a tiny girl of 4 years old. He remained a part of my life forever. He was boisterous, loud, proud, opinionated, and one of the most warm hearted man I have ever met. His gruff exterior hid his incredible soft side that he had for all his kids. I was proud to call him my dad. He was an extraordinary man. He is missed.

Hello Cheri, I'm so sorry for your loss. I did not know your father well as I only met him a couple of times in my youth while visiting you, but I know he must have been a great father because he raised you to be a warm and loving woman. Please also pass my sympathy on to Chris and the rest of your family. Sincerely Raymond Woods

My sincere condolences to the entire family, which is extremely extended, as he was a great unselfish man that touched everyone he met. I am lucky to have been a part of his life and he was a great Grandfather to my son, Robert Zane Lentz, and treated me as though I was a daughter. I have never met a man more caring and giving – who always put everyone’s needs before himself. He will be missed by all but knowing he is in Heaven without pain and suffering, and looking after all of us (in between his dancing with Marilyn Monroe) is comforting.
I loved him as a father and will cherish the time we spent together and will celebrate his life, as he would want all of us to do.

Bobby is also survived by a brother Carl and Sister-in-Law Mary who loved him very much. We took many trips to Vegas to visit him. We were very fortunate to spend five visits with him 2 weeks before he passed away. We will miss him very much. See you in Heaven Bob.

As our small family pulls together in this time of grieving, please join us in sharing the fond memories of Dad. He would want us to celebrate the good memories and not to dwell on sadness.
