Sorry, I don't know this family or live in the area, but made sure I continued receiving yearly reminders of Ryan's passing. I guess time heals, a little maybe. We all experience sorrow differently. For me, I still feel sorrow and compassion for this family. I hope it helps somehow in knowing your sons have not been forgotten.

Where does the time go? One year gone by for us here on earth, but in heaven no time has passed at all. My thoughts and prayers for this family.

Paul and Julie -
May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow and grief. Ryan was a kind, spirited, special soul, making others happy with his megawatt smile, his silly jokes and his infectious laughter. He will live on in his friends and all who knew and loved him. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives.

I am so deeply moved. My deepest condolences to the parents. I am at a loss of words but you are in my deepest thoughts. I went to De La Salle, years ago, but always remember the school with fondness. You are a part of the La Salle family for life. You will be so deeply missed.

I Felt An Angel
I felt an angel near today, though one I could not see
I felt an angel oh so close, sent to comfort me
I felt an angel's kiss, soft upon my cheek
And oh, without a single word of caring did it speak
I felt an angel's silken wings enfold me with pure love
And felt a strength within me grow, a strength sent from above
I felt an angel oh so close, though one I could not see
I felt an angel near today, sent to comfort me.

I would like to express my condolences to the family of Ryan, and although I did not know the family personally, I felt compelled to write this as my son also graduated from De La Salle in 2011 and from CMU this past August. To Paul and Julie, I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through and I pray for God's arms to hold you close during this difficult time. Please know that you are surrounded by so many people who are praying for you and who truly care and hurt for the both of you. May the memories that you have of your children and the knowledge that you will always have 2 angels by your side, bring you both the comfort and peace until you are once again reunited.
God Bless all of you!
