Arthur Etheridge Obituary

Arthur Etheridge -UNADILLA - Services for Arthur Etheridge, 91, will be at 11A.M., Friday, February 7, at Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church of Unadilla with interment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Etheridge died Wednesday, February 5, 2003. -Born in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Thomas B. Etheridge and Viola Nobles Etheridge. He was a farmer and had been a Mason for fifty-six years. Mr. Etheridge was the oldest member and deacon of Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church and was one of the founders of the Wesley Chapel Conventional Singing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Stokes Etheridge, and his son, Bobby Etheridge. -Survivors include children, Karen Prince of Cordele, Glenda Jarrell of Unadilla, and Ann Peeples of Thomson; sister, Lola Everett of Vienna; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. -The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6. -Those who wish may sign the online registry atwww.brannen-nesmith.com. -Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
