Christopher Hancock Obituary

Christopher (Chris) Hancock
December 10, 1976 - July 10, 2018
Macon, Georgia- Christopher (Chris) Everett Hancock, age 41, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. He was born on December 10, 1976, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a longtime resident of Macon, Georgia, but had most recently resided in Chame, Panama.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Hancock, his father, Dennis (Karen) Hancock, his children, Lilith, Maya, and Clementine, his brother, Josh Hancock, his stepsister, Delpha Shultz, and aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives.
Chris graduated from Jones County High School in 1995 and received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2011. He used his artistic talents and professional training to establish a design/build business in Panama. Chris was also a talented musician, a lover of animals, and had a smile that would light up the room. He had a very kind heart and quick wit and an easy laugh - and he gave the best hugs. But, above all, he was a loving father, son, brother, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Thomaston Road Church of Christ, 5859 Thomaston Road, Macon, Georgia, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The family will be there to greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Thomaston Road Church of Christ Care Building (food pantry).
