Rochester, NY- Greece: Monday, July 24, 2017 at age 68. Predeceased by his father Frederick; sister, Paula Betlem. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anne Betlem; mother, Eleanor Betlem; son, Todd (Christine) Betlem; daughter, Deborah (Keith) Anderson; grandson, Kaelan Anderson; brothers-in-law, David (Pat) Heisley, John (Nancy) Heisley; sister-in-law, Marylou Robinson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. David retired from Eastman Kodak after 35 years and was a member of the Odd Fellows. His passions included spending summers on the St. Lawrence River, playing golf with his friends, anything sports and listening to music. He liked to say "a day without music is a day wasted". David especially loved being surrounded by his family and many friends sharing a good laugh. For the past 15 years, David and Anne resided in Macon, Georgia before returning to his boyhood home in Rochester New York.
Services were held at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory. For more information or to sign David's online guestbook, please visit www.MeesonFamily.com
