Hassan Dannawi Obituary
December 30, 1933 - February 5, 2024
Macon, Georgia - Dr. Hassan Dannawi departed this life on February 5, 2024. He was a loving husband to his wife, Hala Dannawi of 59 years and a devoted father to his four children, Heyam Dannawi, Amal Dannawi Harrison, Aden Dannawi and Zakaria Dannawi. He was a fun and caring grandfather to Savannah, Becker and Zoe Harrison and to Enki Dannawi. He was a dedicated physician at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. After his family, his priority in life was his patients and the staff at the hospital. While his passion was cancer research, he enjoyed poetry and classical literature. He had an infectious laugh and the most caring smile. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Children's Hospital of Macon, GA.

To the Family of Dr Dannawi, my deepest sympathies! Dr "D" saved my son... along with many others and we are grateful for his dedication. Even far after treatment Dr D was there for us. I know its a great Loss...even 26 years after treatment he was well thought of. May you find the strength to carry you in the days ahead.

Dr. Hassan Dannawi was a great and towering person. He lived pur and clean life. He was a jewel to his friend and darling to his patients. A man of several accomplishments, numerous to enumerate. A loving and caring son, husband , father and grandfather.Above all he was my very dear friend where we cherished each others company.
He is 6 feet down but millions miles high among the immortals which is a rare occurrence.
To follow his foot path shall remain a dream.
