John Lawrence "Peanut" Doles
Gray, GA- John Lawrence "Peanut" Doles, 60, entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, December 5, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Paul Dziadul will officiate. The family will meet friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Peanut was the son of the late John Walter and Evelyn Louise Doles and was a lifelong resident of Macon. He was of the Baptist Faith and was an avid Braves fan, enjoyed watching the "Young and the Restless," and enjoyed Falcons Football. Most of all, he loved spending time with the family he adored and was a most special brother.
Left here to cherish his wonderful and loving memory is the family who treasured his life with them, his brothers and sisters, Roland Neel Doles (Teresa Lynn), Sharon Ann Brown (William Clarence), Debra Elaine Winn (Ray Benge) and Kay Blalock (Billy); a special cousin Libby (Nicole) Roberson; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.

I have known this family for many years .....I grew up with Macy,Robbie and Loved Libbey and Elaine we lived in the same apartment complex and how could I have ever forgotten 'PEANUT' he was so friendly and loved to talk and keep you smiling and was a very avid fan of the 'BRAVES"...VERY SWEET FAMILY AND I AM SO SORRY FOR YALLS LOSS KEEPING THE WHOLE FAMILY IN PRAYERS R.I.P. "Peanut" was my only friend to play with when I was 6-8 years old when I was growing up in Jones Co. in the mid 70's. I am relieved to learn how much family he had as my entire family often wondered where he was and if he was ok. Maybe his horse Sheba will be waiting for him. The pic is not for advertising Peanut was a part of Avant Trucking,it wouldn't have been as much fun without him.

I have very sweet memories of Peanut during my childhood. I'm one of the many Lord Family that lived on Cleveland Ave.I remember your family and the house ya'll grew up in on OakHaven Ave.It seems like that I remember Peanut loving the show "OuterSpace"--it's special and meaningful to us all to reconnect over time.God bless your family and sweet Peanut Doles.
