Leslie Stripling Obituary
September 01, 1971 - June 27, 2012
Gray, GA- Leslie Lynn Stripling of Pitts Chapel Road, died June 27, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Jones County. Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Saturday June 30, 2012, at Immanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Bobo officiating. Burial will follow at Henderson-Stripling Cemetery.
Mrs. Stripling the daughter of Scotty and Wanda Nipper, was born in Macon on September 01, 1971, and had lived in Jones County all of her life. She worked for Ready-Mix USA as a Human Resources Representative and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stripling is survived by her husband: Dale Stripling; parents: Scotty and Wanda Nipper; children: Chase Partin and Kaitlyn Stripling; brother and sister-in-law: Jordy and Sarah Nipper; grandparents: Mary Lynn Ball, Jo Etheridge and Pat and Julia Nipper; aunts: Cheryl Rozar and Ann McDaniel; and by her uncle: Walter Lynn.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Scotty and Wanda Nipper at 313 Deer Creek Circle in Gray.

I have so many wonderful, happy childhood memories with Leslie. I can't imagine the sadness her family must be feeling. Hold tight to all of your memories and know an angel is watching over you.

I only knew Les for about 3 years before she passed, but in that time i came to know a beautiful woman devoted to her family and kids. She baked a mean birthday cake too! Haha. Chase and Kaitlyn...your mom would want you to be strong like she was. And know that she is still with you. Leslie, you were an inspiration of strength, love, and positive attitude in your last days. You will be missed but never forgotten!

To Wanda,Scotty,Jordy,Chase,Kaitlyn,and the rest of the family.She was truly a precious gift from God. Leslie and I are years apart and though we are cousins, I didn't know her as well as I would have liked. I was graced by Leslie's beautiful presence daily on the school bus many years ago when she lived on Upper River Road. She was always smiling then as I am sure she did most times there after. My condolences to Leslie's dearly loved ones, friends and family.

Dear family, my heart and prayers are with you during this time. Your mother knew the Lord and she is no longer suffering and for that we can rejoice. I am thankful that I had the privilege to get to know your mother while we worked together several years ago. We had not seen each other in a long time until a few months ago. She was very sick that day but we hugged and were very glad to see each other. I am thankful for that moment because that was our last time together. May the Lord comfort you in the days ahead.

Dear Dale, Kaitlyn, Chase, Wanda, Scotty, Cheryl, Jordy, and all those who mourn the loss of Leslie. I was deeply saddened to learn that Leslie was ill recently; and her passing was a shock and great loss. We shared some wonderful times together and will always cherish the milestones we made in unison. While being treated as a member of the family I have many fond memories from childhood softball games, learning to waterski, "teenage-hood," childbirth, marriage and a few others only she and I shared as best friends do. Her legacy lives on in my own memories and forever in my heart. Your loss I am sure is bittersweet that her battle is over and now may she be your guardian angel. My sincerest condolences to all of you during this time; I pray your pain be short lived and her memory be a celebration. God bless, love and light.
