Rosa Jones Obituary

Rosa Carter Jones "Nan Jones" -MILLEDGEVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Carter Jones, referred to by her many loved ones and friends as "Nan Jones", who died October 28, 2005 in Detroit, Michigan, will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at 1P.M. at the Chapel of All Faiths Swint Avenue. Burial will follow in the Bone Cemetery on the corner of M.L.K. and North Clarke Streets. -Survivors include two children, Mrs. Vivian Jones-Jones of Warner Robins, GA and Elder Phillip J. Jones and wife Brenda of Detroit, Michigan; grandchildren, Avis Jones, Genia Newton and husband Al, all of Warner Robins, Cassandra Hudson, and Everton Hudson, Jr. of Queens, NY, Christopher Hudson of Westbury, New York, Dr. Kendra G. Jones of California and Littiece R. Jones of Detroit, Michigan. There are six great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and devoted friends are also surviving. -The funeral procession will depart 12 Noon Sunday from the Ebenezer Seventh Day Adventist Church, 509 N. Liberty Street to the Chapel of All Faiths on Swint Avenue. -Peoples Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements.
