Careen, my brothers, Buddy and Phillip, and I were deeply saddened to hear about Sonny's death. We all have such fond memories of our relationships with Sonny when he lived on our farm years ago while he worked in Oglethorpe. He had such a kind and loving spirit that we will never forget. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. I have trouble finding words to express my sadness over the loss of Sonny. He was one of the nicest, kindest and most unpretentious persons I have ever known. Sonny was not just a co-worker, but also a good friend. He was always available to help me, answer my endless questions or just be a good listener. He was truly one of a kind! It has been an honor to call him a friend and he will be greatly missed. As each day passes, I hope that your memories of yesterday, will help ease the pain and sorrow you feel today. May his soul be at peace.

Careen, my heart hurts for you, your mother and family. I know this is a very difficult time for you. Although many years have passed since Sonny and I were in school together, I have an indelible memory of a smiling, happy and slightly mischievous young man stamped in my memory. My prayers are for the loving and sheltering arms of Jesus to wrap around you all and hold you close as you grieve for the passing of your loved one. Please don't hesitate to call on me and my family if we can ever help you in any way.

Sonny was one of the highlights of our month. Everyone in our office always perked up when he came for the wood inspection. He spoke lovingly of his mother and his sister often. He was always happy to be heading home to see them. I am so sorry for your loss. All of us here at ProPack feel we have lost a friend. He was a good and kind man. We will miss him.
