Dry Branch , Ga- Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 @ 1:00pm @ Old Marion Baptist Church(Twiggs County) with burial in church cemetery. Survivors: sons; Jemel Riggins, Marco Riggins{both of Dry Branch}, Tremel Riggins{Warner Robins}, daughters; Latoya Moss{Atlanta}, Margo Riggins, Paulette Walden{both of Macon}, brother; Roger Riggins{Philadelphia, PA}, sisters; Lillie Rouse, Eula(Larry)Fitzpatrick, Linda(Pressley)Cornelious{all of Macon}, 2 grandchildren. Family contact: 115 North Bell Ct. Services entrusted to Bentley & Sons Funeral Home, Macon.

To the Riggins Family, I wrote this poem especially for Troy.
To my Brother from Another Mother
Although you are in a better place
Unstoppable tears are running down my face
God came and took you by the hand
He is the one with the master plan
Even though you have gone home
I can still hear you saying "family be strong"
You lived the life of a "Simple Man "
Always willing to lend a hand
When my Mom (Mrs. Winnie "Tiny" Booze)is lonely and missing her boy
I will reach over and tell her " Mom this hug is from "Troy"
Although we have different mothers
I am proud to have called you my brother.

I'm so very sad for the loss of your brother. As your being a member of UBC, the Mass Choir, I know that you're a very spirited person, so just remember that "Earth has no Sorrow that Heaven can not Heal" and GOD will see you and your family through this. We have truly lost a valuable asset from our decreasing arsenal of family and friends. Troy always had a joyful and calm spirit. He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone at any time day or night. No matter what the situation, Troy could always see the brighter side of things. He will truly be missed within the community; as we grew up together and maintained constant contact. Rest in peace my brother and know that you lived a meaningful life and touched the hearts and soul of so many people. My condolences to the the family.
