SAUK CITY/MAZOMANIE - Calvin "Cal" Traver, age 85, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
A funeral service for Cal will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025 at 12 noon at Hooverson Funeral Home, 251 Water St., Sauk City. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Cal was a dedicated fellow to his duties as a police officer in Madison through the ranks he held. He also was dedicated to comraderie and good fellowship among his co-workers and serving them in continued fellowship by working for decades to nurture police retired officers to participate in regular social get-togethers, staying in touch with each other. He will be missed. RIP, Cal.
