WAUNAKEE - Eugene J. "Peaches" Griffith, 75, of Waunakee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 27, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born September 17, 1946 in Madison to John and Dorothy Griffith. He attended Waunakee High School and graduated in 1965. He married his H.S. Sweetheart Diane and they were Married 53 Years.
Gene was a Self Employed Carpenter. He enjoyed the North Woods, Snowmobiling, 4-Wheeling, Fishing, Hunting and Bird Watching. He loved his kids and grandkids deeply, and enjoyed watching his grandkids in their extra curricular activities.
Gene is survived by his loving wife Diane; and daughter Kelli (Greg) Biel; grandkids: Dustyn, Morgan and Austin.
Gene was preceded in death by his daughter Tina, his parents John and Dorothy, brothers Dennis Griffith and Mike Loring. mother and father-in-law Victor and Henrietta, sister-in-law Lois, and brothers-in-law Paul Wipperfurth, and Joe Kuehn.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:00 noon at St John's Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN SERVICE TIMES FOR SATURDAY'S SERVICE
In lieu of flowers the family will designate a memorial at a later date.
