Evelyn (Collins) Kolman

RICHLAND CENTER - Evelyn (Collins) Kolman, 97, of Richland Center, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born on December 15, 1924, near Blue River to Clarence and Madalyn (Jones) Collins. She was married to Lester Kolman on November 12, 1942, in Athens, GA, when he was in the service. Evelyn graduated from Ithaca High School in 1942. She was employed by Wisconsin Telephone/AT&T for 44-years and retired in 1991.
Evelyn is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Collins; nieces: Dawn Collins and Deb (Steve) Dickey; great-nephews: Kyle (Heather) Dickey and Derek (Bri) Dickey all of Ithaca; great-great-nieces: Emelia, Brooklyn and Evelyn; nephews: Fritz Collins of Oshkosh and Delbert Kolman of Madison; nieces Tressa (Bill) Ward of Richland Center and Alice Kasuboski of New Hampton, IA; and other relatives and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Lester in 1976; father Clarence in 1984; mother Madalyn in 1991; brother James Collins in 1989; niece Darcy Collins; and great-nephew Bradley Kolman.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center with burial to follow in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
The family suggests memorials in Evelyn's name be directed to the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery Fund, The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. prattfuneralservice.com.

I had the pleasure of working with Evie from 1971 until she retired, and my husband worked with her beginning in the early 60's. She was a lovely person and a conscientious employee. I send my condolences to her family members. RIP sweet Evie.
