Jason Augustus Hull, affectionately known as "Captain Fun," passed away on November 20, 2024, in Sarasota, Fla., at the age of 52. Born on August 28, 1972, in Waupun, Wis., Jason was the beloved son of Randy Hull and Patti Fisher.

Jason graduated from Waupun High School in 1990. His passion for the 12-volt industry began at the young age of 16, leading him to a successful career. He owned and operated Raxx Loud and Clear, a thriving car stereo shop with locations in Madison and Janesville, Wis., for over two decades. His dedication and entrepreneurial spirit were evident in his professional achievements.

Known for his vibrant personality and zest for life, Jason enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, and bass fishing. He cherished time with his dog, Leela, and his cat, Sajak. His infectious smile and humor endeared him to many, earning him his cherished nickname. Jason loved vacationing in Siesta Key, Fla., where he formed lasting friendships.

Jason is survived by his devoted wife, Sara Hull, of Belleville, Wis.; his son, Alec Hull; and his daughter, Briana Mecklenberg. He is also survived by his mother, Patti Fisher (Lori Martinson); father, Randy Hull; mother and father-in-law, Ken and Jean Crass; sister-in-law, Kelly Crass; and grandmothers, Anna Wells and Marion Hull. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ralph Hull, Jack Wells, Emmet Fisher, Homer Schaub; and grandmother, Mary Schaub.

Jason's life was enriched by the love and support of many lifelong friends who considered him family.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, honoring the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him.
