Joan Marie Flesch
July 17, 1947 - Aug. 7, 2023
MANSFIELD, PA - Joan Marie Flesch, age 76, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, surrounded by loved ones.
Joan was born July 17, 1947, in Dubuque, IA, a daughter of Francis and Mary (Burns) McKenna. Joan worked as an RN for Guthrie Clinic and was a member at Holy Child Catholic Church in Mansfield, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending the Red Hat Society events, being a member of the Ladies Guild, along with gardening and reading.
Joan is survived by her husband, David Flesch; daughters: Amy (Kurt) Doolittle of Melbourne, FL, Gail Flesch-Franco of Bon Aqua, TN, and Carla Jankowski of Leola, PA; grandchildren: Lindsey Felt, Justin Felt, Luke Jankowski, Kyle Jankowski, Harlowe Doolittle, and Claire Doolittle; and brother, Michael (Mary) McKenna.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main Street Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Mansfield Fireman's Ambulance Association.
