Joyce I. Auchtung

MARSHALL - Joyce I. Auchtung, age 89, went home to the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2023, after a brief illness.
She was born in Madison on July 13, 1934, the daughter of Milo and Ruth King. On September 20, 1953, Joyce married the love of her life, David Auchtung. Together they enjoyed raising their five children, traveling, antiquing, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Joyce was a dedicated farm wife. She worked for 20 years at Goodyear Rubber Manufacturing until her retirement. Joyce enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas.
She is survived by five children: Terry (Cindy), Sherrie Witt, Julie (Jim) Zbigniewicz, Dave (Martha), and Randy (Jerri); ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Bonnie Pertzborn, Sandy King, and Darlene Heaslip; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Paul Witt; brother, Jeff (Marlene) King; sister, Judy (Marlin) Weisensel; and brother-in-law, Ed Pertzborn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 304 Woodward Drive, Sun Prairie, with Rev. Dean Howell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, following the burial, in the church fellowship hall. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at church.
