Jarrett, Tyler C.
MCFARLAND - Tyler C. Jarrett, age 28, passed away in his sleep on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021. He was born in Madison on April 12, 1992, the son of Michael and Jane (Bassler) Jarrett. Tyler graduated from McFarland High School with the Class of 2010 and played football and most importantly, hockey. He is also survived by parents; paternal grandfather, George Jarrett; aunts and uncles and many cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John and Jane Bassler; and paternal grandmother, Joan Jarrett.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland with a brief service and time of sharing to start at 7 pm. I met TJ when he was 8 years old. He showed me his room and he let me try his Viper Venom sour candy. It was sour and terrible and we laughed. And we connected. I loved that kid. John and I are simply devastated.
