Craig Allen Halverson

Craig "Butch" Halverson, 73, of Madison, WI, passed away on November 16, 2025, in his home. Craig was born to Edmund and Marilyn Halverson on October 1, 1952. After attending McFarland High School, Craig went on to serve as an HVAC technician. Before his retirement, he worked at Home Depot as a sales generator for 20 years.

Craig was an avid collector of antiques and items that had sentimental value to him, such as art and photos created by his children and grandchildren.

He was the best husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ask for; he loved and stood by his family no matter what. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever.

Craig is survived by his wife of 49 years, Connie, as well as his daughter Rebecca (Kelly) and two grandchildren, Savana (Kaleel) and Kristian (Karina). He is also survived by his siblings Linda, Dean, David (Barb), and Donna.

Craig was preceded in death by his son, Scott; his parents, Edmund and Marilyn; his sister, Gaylene; and his nieces, Kristi and Jennifer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday December 12, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 5801 Hwy 51, McFarland, WI 53558. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service at the funeral home on Friday.
