C. Walters Obituary
He was born May 10,1950 to Gordon and Dorothy (Steele) Walters in Wendell, Idaho. He attended schools in Jerome, Idaho graduating in 1968 and attended the College of Southern Idaho for the next two years. He then joined the Peace Corp and served in northern India for two and a half years. Upon returning he attended Idaho State University graduating with a degree in Business.
After working various jobs in southern and eastern Idaho Cal moved to Seattle,Washington to work for Eastern Airlines. He then moved to SanFrancisco,California and went to work for United Airlines. He worked for the airlines in various capacities for almost fourty years before retiring.
Being employed by the airlines enabled him to travel the world. He most often traveled internationally but also visited every state in the U.S.. Cal had a passion to learn other cultures. He truly never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Francine,siblings Ed and Jane (Mark),nieces,Tracy, MacKensie and Brooklyn, stepchildren April and Vinny, and seven step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Dorothy Walters and stepson David Matsu.
Arrangements were made in El Dorado Hills, California.
