Carlos Coelho (1976-2024) passed away at the age of 47 in his home on the evening of June 28, 2024.
Carlos was born in Corona, California on October 9, 1976. He then moved to Idaho where he finished school and resided for the rest of his life. While in Idaho, Carlos married his wife, Lacey (Frey) Coelho, on June 2, 2007 and resided in Hagerman Idaho with her.
Carlos had a passion for trucking since childhood. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and loved fishing as well as working on cars and trucks.
Carlos was a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend. He was always offering a helping hand to any person or animal in need. Carlos was an incredibly loving and generous man. His kind heart and hardworking spirit was a true testament to his love of giving to his family. Carlos's memory will continue to remain in the hearts of his family and friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Carlos is survived by his wife Lacey; his parents, Manuel and Durvalina Coelho; mother & father-in-law, Brig & Dianne (Frey) Vulgamore; two daughters, Emily and Lilly; two brothers, Gilbert (Kelly) Coelho and Larry (Stephanie) Coelho; sister, Nivea (Iovany) Vazquez; two sisters-in-law, Annie (Mike) Murphy and Teri Taylor; 11 aunts and uncles, 15 cousins and 30 nieces and nephews.
Carlos was preceded in death by his step-sons, Brendan Koehn & Austin Taylor Koehn; father-in-law, Jack Dwayne Frey; aunt, Diva Gomes; uncle, Carlos Coelho; aunt, Luisa Coelho; grandparents, Manuel and Floribela Coelho, and Lourenco and Amelia Gomes; niece, Harley Ray Ann McDaniel.
Viewing will be held at Demaray's Jerome on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Demaray's Jerome Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Interment immediately following at the Jerome Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaaray's Jerome Memorial Chapel. demaraysjerome.com

We knew Carlos to be a caring person always ready to offer a helping hand and warm smile. When visiting with him, it didn´t take long to know how much family love and loyalty meant to him. He appreciated the value of hard work he was taught from childhood. In our visits he shared his memories of his grandparents in California. How they raised a garden and his grandpa grew figs. When he would ask for candy or money for his, his grandpa would offer him a sweet fig instead and told him it was better for him than candy!
He was an extremely hard worker and wanted to provide for his family and was fiercely loving and protective of Lacey, Brendan,Lilly and Emily. We will miss him.
