Michael W. Iliff

Michael W. Iliff passed away on April 26, 2024 at 83 years of age.
He is is survived by his wife, Arvesta Jean Iliff; two sons: Gary L. Iliff (Ronda) Sharon, VT and Thomas T. Iliff( Trish) Colorado Springs, CO; his brother, Carl M. Iliff (JoAnn) Glencoe, MN; and sister, Carlynn I. Noh, Twin Falls, ID; three grandchildren: Marina, Vincent, and Chelsea; and one great-grandchild, Lydia Ruesewald.
Michael was born in Twin Falls, Idaho. He grew up in Hollister, Idaho and graduated in Filer, Idaho 1958 where he met his wife of 65 years. They were high school sweethearts.
He join the Army out of high school and spent 22 years, taking his family all over the world. He served in war zone of Vietnam - where he won two Bronze Stars: and took his family on tours of duty to Germany, Italy, Alabama, Arizona, Washington Sstate and Colorado. He retired as a First Sergeant at Fort Carson where he also joined the Army.
After retirement for the Military, he started his own delivery business that existed for another twenty years, retiring in 2006.
He also served in many position of The Coachman Townhomes Association Board. Besides his family and friends, Michael loved traveling. He and Jean have traveled to 25 countries. After his second retirement he enjoyed painting ceramics and giving them as gifts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Coachman Townhome Clubhouse, 2101 Sussex Lane, Colorado Springs, CO 80909 on May 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road.
